Nissan publishes winning entries of children’s book contest

YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has published the two winning entries of the 33rd Nissan Children’s Storybook and Picture Book Grand Prix, held last year.
 
The company will donate both books to about 3,500 libraries and 800 child care facilities near Nissan offices across Japan. Nissan is working with BL Publishing Co., Ltd. on the project.
 
Eri Ebata’s Kometogi-yuurei no Yoneko-san (“Yoneko, the Rice-Washing Ghost”) took first place in the storybook category. It’s illustrated by Yutaka Kobayashi, the winner of Nissan’s 28th Picture Book Grand Prix. Mifusama’s Gyu (“Hug”) won the picture book category.
