Red Bull Racing Loads Up Ahead of Suzuka
Oct. 4 – Yokohama – Red Bull Racing is at Suzuka preparing for the 39th Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday and Nissan’s light commercial vehicle (LCV) business arm is offering logistical support by laying on eight NV350 Caravans.
Nissan is the official global supplier of LCVs to the reigning double world championship team and have been providing support to the Milton Keynes, U.K.-based team throughout the 2012 season as it defends its drivers’ and teams’ titles.
“Running a Formula One is very much like a military operation. Everything has to be planned, everything has to be to tight time scales, it has to be effective and it has to be efficient,” said Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner.
“The logistics of moving components, people, guest around Europe and around the world is something that behind the scenes is a crucial factor to our success.”
Fitted with Red Bull Racing Team logos, the NV350 will play a vital role in helping the team transport equipment and staff over the race weekend.
